And if you needed another reason to say FUCK YOU, X, here’s the final nail in the coffin. Inconsistency and bias.
#BubbaBabet has previoulsy posted vile, inflammatory, and racist garbage like this (see image below):
"In my house, we say **aggot, re**rd, and n*****. We are sick of you woke ass clowns. Cry more. Write an article. Tweet about me. No one cares what you think." (1)

Both posts were widely reported for breaching X’s rules on abuse, hate speech, and safety by countless users. Yet, X’s response? “No rules broken.” Let that sink in.
Meanwhile, an innocuous post in reply to us (3), reading:
“If Dutton [#PeterDutton] was in fact a thoroughbred, which he ain’t, he would already be at the knackers after being labelled ‘Wastage’—a useless performer, not worth it.” was visibility-limited by X.
The double standards are clear, blatant, and deeply concerning.
Our account—and many others like ours—have been shadow-banned, throttled, and even temporarily suspended for far less than what Babet vomits onto the platform. We’ve archived the evidence of these biased actions. This is not anecdotal. This is fact.
The bias against left-leaning accounts is undeniable. Since the USA election, the changes on X have been documented by us and a network of monitors. Impressions have tanked BY A HUGE MARGIN for many accounts like ours—posts that used to reach tens of thousands now barely scrape a few hundred. Meanwhile, the platform openly promotes right-wing propaganda in its “For You” feed.
What’s happening on X is dangerous. The elevation of extremists while silencing those who counter disinformation creates an unbalanced and toxic echo chamber—just in time for an election. So much for a clamp down on #Misinformation.
This isn’t just bias—it’s systemic rot. Babet’s posts are just the scab on a festering wound, a wound that runs deep into the platform’s core.
For us, the conclusion is clear. X is no longer a viable platform for meaningful discourse.
