Sky News strikes again with their magical spin! Despite Albo still being the preferred PM (by a solid margin), they've gone out of their way to polish Dutton’s numbers, presenting them as some kind of triumph. They’re even quoting Jane Hume about “overwhelming trends” while ignoring the glaring fact: Dutton's STILL trailing as preferred leader, and it’s not even close.
QUOTE: "A Newspoll, released Sunday night, on the key characteristics deemed crucial to run the country found Mr Albanese had continued to fall behind Opposition Leader Peter Dutton"...
DUTTON IS BEHIND 45 per cent (Albo) to 38 per cent (Thug). Let's put that in real terms:
Lead as a percentage of Dutton’s support= Dutton’s support ÷ Lead​×100, therefore Albo's 7% lead is equivalent to an 18.4% advantage over Dutton's support
What’s next, Sky? A victory lap for Dutton because his tie wasn’t crooked?
